NURSERY EDUCATION FUNDING (NEF)

Working parents funding is available to all children who have 2 working parents from the term after they turn 9 months.

You will be entitled to 30 hours over 38 weeks which when stretched gives you 22 hours per week over 50 weeks. 

If you do not qualify for the 30 hours you are still able to access the Worcestershire Early Years 3 and 4 year old funding (15 hours per week stretched to 11 hours) beginning the term after their third birthday  – stretched over 50 weeks

This academic year’s (2025) funded weeks are listed below;

-1st September 2025 - 19th December 2025 (16 weeks)

-5th January 2026 - 3rd April 2026 (13 weeks)

-6th April 2026 - 28th August 2026 (21 weeks)

Please note the nursery caps the funding at 6 hours per day (3 hours for a half day) with a maximum of 22 hours per week.
